Description

Allah's Messenger said, "Every child is born on his fitrah (nature, as a Muslim), his parents change him to Christian, Jew or fire worshipper... The Qur'an, recognizing the natural love and concern of parents for their offspring, contains references to the parent's duties upon their children. 

The Qur'an also recognizes that parents are not always immune from negligence or over protectiveness. Islam denotes the following rights for a child: Right to life and equal opportunities Right to protection and care Right to proper upbringing and education The right to legitimacy In an Islamic society, responsibility for and compassion towards children is a religious responsibility.

حقوق الأبناء

قال رسول الله (ﷺ): "كُلُّ مَوْلُودٍ يُولَدُ عَلَى الْفِطْرَةِ (كمسلم) فَأَبَوَاهُ يُهَوِّدَانِه أَوْ يُنَصِّرَانِهِ أَوْ يُمَجِّسَانِهِ..."

في معرض إقرار القرآن بأن حب ورعاية الآباء والأمهات لأبنائهم هو حب فطري، فإنه يشير كذلك إلى واجبات الوالدين نحو أبنائهما، كما يقر بأن الوالدين ليسا معصومين وأنه قد يصدر عنهما ما يشي بالإهمال أو الحماية المفرطة تجاه أبنائهما

ويمنح الإسلام الحقوق التالية للطفل

الحق في الحياة والمساواة في الفرص

الحق في الحماية والرعاية

الحق في التربية السليمة والتعليم المناسب

الحق في النسب الثابت الموثق للطفل

الكفالة

فتعتبر مسؤولية الأطفال والرأفة بهم فريضة دينية في مجتمعنا الإسلامي
