Allah the Everlasting says: 

“And live with them (women) honourably” [Quran: al-Nisa-19]

In the last sermon before his death, Prophet Muhammad said:

“O People, it is true that you have certain rights with regard to your women but they also have rights over you. Remember that you have taken them as your wives only under Allah's trust and with His permission. If they abide by your right then to them belongs the right to be fed and clothed in kindness. Treat your women well and be kind to them for they are your partners and committed helpers.”

The wife has financial rights over her husband, namely - the dowry, spending and accommodation. She also has the right to fair division of time between co-wives, being treated in a decent manner and not being harmed by her husband. Both the man and woman hold the right to dissolve the marriage contract with valid reasons.

حقوق الزوجة

يقول الله عز وجل: "وَعَاشِرُوهُنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ ۚ ِ" [النساء: 19]

وقبل وفاته، قال الرسول (ﷺ) في خطبة الوداع:

"أيها الناس، إنّ لنسائكم عليكم حقا، وإنّ لكم عليهنّ حقا: لكم عليهنّ أن لا يوطئن فرشكم غيركم، ولا يدخلن أحدا تكرهونه بيوتكم إلا بإذنكم، ولا يأتين بفاحشة؛ فإن فعلن فإنّ الله قد أذن لكم أن تعضلوهن وتهجروهنّ في المضاجع وتضربوهنّ ضربا غير مبرّح؛ فإن انتهين وأطعنكم فعليكم رزقهنّ وكسوتهن بالمعروف؛ وإنما النساء عندكم عوان لا يملكن لأنفسهنّ شيئا، أخذتموهنّ بأمانة الله، واستحللتم فروجهنّ بكلمة الله؛ فاتقوا الله في النساء واستوصوا بهنّ خيرا"

  تتمتع الزوجة بحقوق مالية على زوجها تتمثل في النفقة والكسوة والمسكن، ولها أيضًا حق المساواة مع الضرائر في حالة التعدد، والمعاملة الحسنة وعدم إيذائها من قبل زوجها؛ ويحق لكل من الرجل والمرأة فسخ عقد الزواج لأسباب معتبرة
