Description

Prophet Muhammed told us: "The stone is the Station of Ibrahim. Allah had made it soft and a mercy. Ibrahim would stand on it and Ismail would hand the stones up to him"

During Hajj, Muslims offer prayer at this station in obedience to the order of Allah in the Qur'an: "And take you (people) the Maqam (station) of Ibrahim as a place of prayer" [Qur'an: Al Baqarah: 125]

مقام إبراهيم

حدثنا النبي محمد - صل الله عليه وسلم - فقال: "الْحَجَرُ مَقَامُ إِبْرَاهِيْمَ، جَعَلَهُ اللهُ لَيِّنًا وَجَعَلَهُ رَحْمَةً، فَيَقُوْمُ عَلَيْهِ إِبْرَاهِيْمُ فَيُنَاوِلَهُ إِسْمَاعِيْلُ الْحِجَارَةِ"

ويُصلّ المسلمون خلف المقام عند أداء مناسك الحج امتثالًا لأمر الله في القرآن: "وَاتَّخِذُوا مِن مَّقَامِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ مُصَلًّى" [البقرة: 125]
