Hajr-E-Aswad
Description
The Prophet of Allah said: "The Black Stone came down from Paradise." The Black Stone was first placed in the Ka'bah by Ibrahim and remains a part of the Ka'bah. Muslims, following the tradition of Prophet Muhammed, touch it or kiss it.
It is narrated that 'Umar came to the Black Stone and kissed it, then he said: "I know that you are only a stone which can neither bring benefit nor cause harm. Were it not that I saw the Prophet kiss you, I would not have kissed you."
