Description

The etiquettes of eating and drinking which was outlined by Prophet Muhammed can be well applied while drinking the blessed water of Zamzam.

-It was the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammed to drink water in three separate breaths.

-Puffing or blowing in the cup while drinking is disliked.

-One should say "Bismillah" (In the Name of Allah), before drinking.

-One can make supplications for himself and his fellowmen before drinking the blessed Zamzam.

- Prophet Muhammed said "Shaytan (Satan) eats and drinks with his left hand", hence one should not drink Zamzam with his left hand.

- It is also forbidden to eat or drink while leaning or lying down on the back

آداب الشرب من ماء زمزم

تُطبق آداب تناول الطعام والشراب التي أوصى بها الرسول محمد (ﷺ) عند شرب ماء زمزم المبارك

- يستحب اتباع سنة النبي محمد (ﷺ) في شرب الماء على ثلاثة أنفاس

- يكره النفخ في الكأس أثناء الشرب

- يجب التسمية قبل الشرب بقول "بسم الله"

- يشرع دعاء المرء لنفسه ولغيره بالخير قبل شرب ماء زمزم المبارك

 قال النبي محمد (ﷺ): "َإِنَّ الشَّيْطَانَ يَأْكُلُ بِشِمَالِهِ وَيَشْرَبُ بِشِمَالِهِ". ومن ثم يُنهى عن شرب ماء زمزم باليد اليسرى

- يُنهى عن الأكل أو الشرب عند الاتكاء أو الاستلقاء
